At Pine Valley Community Church, you'll notice quickly that we are all involved at various levels in the mission of the church.
Wherever you are right now, whether it's attending regularly or growing in your journey as a Christ-follower, we would like to challenge you to keep moving forward. Christ's church is how His people minister to one another, to the world, and to God Himself. His church is worth our time and energy.
So wherever you are, ask Jesus how you can take one step forward in involvement in His work through this church.
Every week, it takes a group of people to make sure Pine Valley Community Church is up and running: from the landscapers, the nursery team, and all the teachers for our children to those on the worship team. We need you, and we ask that you prayerfully consider how and where you can get "plugged in" to serve the church.
"Even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many."
Serving on Sundays
It takes a lot of volunteers to create an environment where people can connect with others, hear the Word of God, and worship Jesus on Sundays. From welcoming guests as they come in the doors, directing people around our building, and setting up our environments for gathering and worship to teaching our kids about Jesus, in whatever way fits you best, you can be part of making Sunday services a reality.
Serving Throughout the Week
Much happens behind the scenes throughout the week for us to lead, care for, and mobilize PVCC. You can support ministry and mission by preparing curriculum for our Sunday teachers, helping out with the landscape team, and volunteering for our AWANA program on Wednesday nights. There is always a place to serve! If you would like more information about getting involved in a certain ministry, please email us and we will put you in contact with the corresponding team leader.
Volunteers in our Preschool ministry
(birth - 4 years old) get the opportunity to shepherd and care for our littlest ones during weekend worship services through singing, dancing, and teaching the Truth of God’s Word. They check-in kids, lead classrooms, provide assistance to classroom teachers, and care for babies and toddlers.
Every Wednesday night from September to May, we participate in a program called AWANA. This is a group for 4-year-olds all the way up to seniors in high school. For more information about this amazing ministry, click here. If you would like to volunteer to organize games for the different age groups, teach, or assist the teachers, please click here to send an email to our AWANA Directors.
Volunteers in Children's Ministry
(K- 5th graders) minister during our Sunday services: singing with the children, telling stories, and teaching the Truth of God's Word. They check-in kids, lead classes, and provide assistance to classroom teachers.
Volunteers in our Middle School ministry have the opportunity to create relationships with students and walk alongside them through the teaching of Scripture, worship, and intentional discipleship. They check-in and greet students, set up events, lead small groups, and participate in our weekly AWANA program on Wednesday nights.
